About this bottle
The second bottling of Charbay's experimental whiskey, created by distilling ready-to-drink beer, has been released. The beer utilized a two-grain European barley originating from British Columbia, with hops added just before the distillation process. This particular lot includes barrels numbered 3 through 7. The whiskey was matured for six years in new American white oak barrels (bearing a char level #3, referred to as 'Gator skin') followed by an additional three years in neutral vessels to allow further development without additional oak influence.
