About this bottle

In 2013, individuals associated with the renowned spirits application Distiller embarked on a project to craft the ultimate authentic whiskey. Employing 1700s distillation techniques detailed in an ancestor's diary and using a recipe found in his Revolutionary War footwear, they produced a distillate. This spirit was then matured in barrels constructed from wood salvaged from covered wagons in present-day Colorado, resting in a warehouse once utilized by President Theodore Roosevelt for his firearm collection. It is packaged in a simple tin can, reminiscent of how Revolutionary War soldiers might have consumed it. With only 41 cans produced, prompt purchase is advised if found. Note: This was an April Fool's Day 2017 release, and all participants' tasting notes were greatly appreciated.

The doorbell rang, which was odd since I don't have one. Standing there in a bright yellow outfit was the delivery driver. "Package for me," he said. "Should I sigh now..." I started, but he just put the box down and left quickly before I could finish. I'll never know if he was afraid of what was inside or the fact I was unclothed. The box had warning labels about asbestos and the return address was simply 'Latrine.' The seal on the container was clearly broken, as the bottom of the box was soaked with a fluorescent yellow substance that smelled like bug spray and school glue. Inside, the rusty container was already punctured. It looked like it was done intentionally, perhaps to let something living inside breathe. I gave it a little shake, and some liquid spilled onto the floor, instantly changing the shag carpet from its usual dark red to a stained, pale orange. It must have a high proof. I hurried to the kitchen and grabbed the grimiest tasting glass I could find. One still had a gross clump of dark residue at the bottom and bits of wood on the side. I had recently tried some Octomore, so it seemed appropriate. Once in the glass, I swirled it, and the liquid seemed to fold in on itself with a heavy sound. Swirling it more vigorously, it showed its legs – the legs of someone with severe disabilities. That first taste was impactful. I'd never experienced such despair before. It was like the salty tears of someone who failed clown school. It coats your tongue like a possessive former partner. Get away from it, man. The finish isn't so much that the drink is gone as it is that you are gone. My liver actually stopped working. I looked up on WebMD that chugging a light American beer can restart a failed liver, so I quickly drank a couple of lagers. That's the only reason I can write this right now. Overall, this is a good initial release from the company. I have about 5-6 ounces left. I'm going to finish the rest of the lagers in the fridge and have my ex-wife over. She mentioned we should get together for drinks and discuss reconciliation. Fingers crossed. Cheers, everyone.

Excellent! Perfect for the spring gardening season. An amazing triple threat: for sipping, fertilizing gardens, and as an insecticide. The scent includes chloroform and potassium sulfate (which also yields fantastic tomatoes as fertilizer). On the palate, you experience a slight heat, followed by tearing and significant internal bleeding... which, incidentally, also contributes to its effectiveness as an insecticide and pest killer. My sole critique is the finish. It's extremely brief, lasting mere microseconds, as all sensory perception is lost by then. Overall, a highly recommended purchase, also found in the home and garden section, near the pest control products.

Immediately after the initial taste, my esophagus felt like it was replaced with a metallic pipe. The spirit became much easier to drink afterward, revealing notes of luxury watches and violet paint (yes, violet paint has a distinct flavor compared to other paints, you uncultured person). It complements the aroma, which is essentially exhaust from a homemade buggy mixed with herbs. The ending is paradoxical because it never truly concludes; the bleach-like burn persists. It pairs well with somber yet peaceful music, such as a specific track by Maximum the Hormone.

Absolutely incredible. I felt like I was sent back in time. The aroma is full of used bath water, insecticide powder, and the remains of a witch's pyre. It tastes of medicine for a respiratory illness, animal waste, and soil, but in a positive way. You can distinctly detect the oak barrels crafted from a former president's dental prosthetics. The conclusion is mellow with a subtle note of the perspiration of an elderly man suffering from a specific fever. The packaging in a weathered container was a clever addition. It truly makes me want to put on historical attire and ride around on horseback with my firearm, rousing the troops. I certainly hope this becomes available every year!

A bit of this must have transferred to my lips during a kiss with my child before his rest. An unidentified man entered shortly after, seeking the remainder of the container. He was dishevelled and seemed to barely fit into his clothing. He forcefully opened the alcohol storage, rapidly consuming the rest of the container and all its contents. He then struck me, departed through the main entrance, leaving it damaged. The cautionary notice needed to be more prominent. Additionally, my lips are gone.

After a recent trip to Wisconsin, I discovered this delightful spirit. It was left as a present by the previous residents of the house I purchased, and I was certainly grateful. The aroma evoked bratwurst cooked over a worn-out charcoal grill - smoky, meaty, distinctly metallic - along with fresh notes from a dairy farm. The palate is smooth enough to enhance your enjoyment, finishing with a lingering taste of well water. A true crowd-pleaser, it pairs perfectly with your Friday fish fry at the lodge!
