While in Mexico, I sought a bottle scarce or much cheaper than in the US. A store employee suggested this one, and it's truly excellent. It resembles bourbon with notes of caramel, vanilla, fruit, and a touch of spice. It might equal or surpass Don Julio 1942 for a significantly lower price.

I appreciated the richness and complexity, with numerous whiskey-like notes over a solid agave foundation.
Very smooth, excellent tequila!
