NOSE Wood, tree fruit, toffee, spice, grain, citrus, and hints of dill and earth with a subtle cracker note. A typical rye smell, not amazing, but perfectly acceptable. PALATE Strong baking spice, herbal, caramel, wood, unripe fruit, metallic candy and a little earth and some chocolate wafer. Whoa, this is strange. It’s reminiscent of an old-fashioned candy made from rye and baked goods. FINISH Medium -> Cinnamon, wood, vanilla, earthiness gives way to chocolate wafer.
