About this bottle
Westland Distillery is dedicated to exploring barley's potential, as demonstrated by its series of whiskeys showcasing different malted barley types and their resultant flavors. All three whiskeys in the series were aged for 49 to 50 months in ex-bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill and fermented with Belgian Brewer's yeast. Cask #2681 was produced using Golden Promise barley from Thomas Fawcett & Sons, a grain historically significant in Scotland for ales and single malt Scotch during the 1970s and 1980s.
