This surprised me; it has a great nose and palate, ranking among the best. The heat was intense, truly intense, but here's the issue: the finish was just okay, at best, with very little complexity. I truly, truly wanted it to make a powerful final impression, but it didn't.

Let's address the question we all ponder: is it worth $200? I believe it is. It's packed with complex flavors of citrus, stone fruit, honey, and spice. The concentration and finish indicate significant barrel aging, yet the integration effectively manages the high proof.
Compared with GTS 2017, LSB18, Booker's 2017-04, ECBP C918, WP Boss Hog Nose: Heat followed by sweetness/spice Palate: Fruits/dark chocolate/OAK Finish: The finish is long with oak/lots of dark chocolate notes/astringency It stood out from the others listed, much like how GTS 2017 stands apart on its own.
Potent nuttiness, traditional whiskey characteristics, cola. However, the taste deviates into the unusual. Synthetic rubber, medicinal syrup, paint thinner. Heat. This certainly seems like a high-quality, intricate pour, but the artificial notes are too prominent for me. 2/22/19
Nose: Certainly 123 proof, with pepper and floral notes. Palate: Spicy initially, but it transforms into something sweet, oaky, and floral. Finish: Floral, not overpowering, with a slight kick as it goes down. A very intricate rye; if you have the opportunity to try it, don't miss out.
👌🏼 Exceptional. A spectrum of flavors. I was more taken aback and impressed by this rye within the first five seconds than by any whiskey I have ever encountered. Experience this and be astonished as I was.
