About this bottle
Bruichladdich is a distillery known for its experimental approach. This Cuvée D is one of six editions of 16-year-old, un-peated whisky. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in casks exclusively from first-growth Bordeaux estates, specifically Chateau Haut-Brion from the Pessac-Leognan region. While the series was well-received upon its release, it has since been discontinued.
