AROMA Sweet and wine-like, cereal grain and malty sweetness, vanilla taffy with some toasted pastry and raisin-like dried dark fruit with a hint of copper. Not the most complex Glenmorangie, or wine-finished whisky, I’ve experienced. It’s alright, just very light. PALATE Sweet and wine-like, malty sweetness, oak, vanilla taffy, toasted pastries and a light nuttiness with some raisin-like dried dark fruit and a hint of copper. Again, not particularly deep or complex, just very light. It becomes slightly earthy as it evolves, but never surpasses being “just okay”. FINISH Medium-short -> Raisin-like dried dark fruit, malt, cinnamon, and oak with a toasted note.
