About this bottle
Black Velvet Onyx underwent distillation and aging at the Black Velvet Distillery in Lethbridge, Alberta, utilizing a method they term “blending at birth.” This involves combining two-year-old corn whisky and two-year-old rye whisky with newly distilled base whisky. The mixture is then placed into used bourbon barrels for an additional 12 years of maturation. Onyx also incorporates some older whiskies in its composition. Please note: This product is not sold in the U.S.
