The aroma is clearly recognizable as thyme, but it's not overwhelming. When tasted neat, this Liqueur is very sweet, with the peppery, herbal taste of thyme. It's not something I'd drink by itself; it's definitely a more subtle liqueur. I'm looking forward to using it in drinks made with gin and tequila.
