This refined Grappa from Distillerie Camel Spa in Friuli, Italy, is crafted from red grapes sourced from local vineyards. It was aged in French oak casks that were subjected to toasting and smoking using oak flakes and Kentucky tobacco leaves, before being bottled at 40% ABV. The initial aroma presents hints of smoke, tobacco leaves, and wood chips. It then develops into a subtle yet piquant profile with notes of cigar box, black pepper, caramel, and cinnamon, culminating in a complex and harmonious finish. August 2020
