About this bottle

The Bonollo family's distilling history began in 1908, and they have acquired businesses in Northeast Italy's Veneto region dating back to the 1800s. This grappa is derived from Amarone, the region's celebrated rich, red wine made from dried grapes. To maximize extraction, the grappa is aged in small oak barrels.

Vaughn Field 5.0

The distiller's description and profile of this grappa are accurate. It possesses much finesse but is not short on flavor! The quality of the Amarone base is evident, and the aging enhances its character without diminishing its liveliness.

Sylvester Crouch 4.0

Semi-sweet. Tastes like sweet meats. Great for converting a whiskey drinker.

Savannah Weston 4.8

Simply the best.

Leo Rubin 4.5

Sweet caramel notes
