An excellent rye whiskey for its cost. I strongly encourage anyone interested in rye to try it. Sweet raisin is present on the initial palate, followed by balanced baking spices on the finish. As a wine enthusiast, I find the pinot influence adds a rich fruitiness that makes this bottle distinct and engaging.

Made with 95% Rye and 5% Malted Barley, then finished in French Oak casks that previously held Pinot Noir. It's 90 proof. Spicy Rye with hints of citrus, vanilla, raspberry, and a touch of baking spice. A delightful and smooth pour. Don't overlook this one! Excellent Value! Rated 93 points.
The MGP with a Pinot Noir finish is delightful. It's becoming my preferred Rye. Yes, it's my favorite Rye.
Smelling it neat: Rye spices, wine, grapes, and strong alcohol. I'm not convinced by this one yet. I hope it improves.
