About this bottle

Amédée Edouard Dor founded this cognac house in 1858, commencing with the acquisition of a collection of fine vintage cognacs. Their cellar contains cognacs predating the phylloxera epidemic that devastated French and other European vineyards. These were stored in wood for over 70 years before being transferred to glass demi-johns, where they remain as the collection's centerpiece. The cognac under review, however, is much younger, with its components, sourced from Petite and Grande Champagne, aged for at least four years in oak.
