Maison Surrenne is a cognac brand exclusively developed for the US market by Ansley Coale of Craft Distillers in California and Richard Braastad, cellar master at Tiffon, the largest family-owned cognac producer. This bottling originates from their Ancienne Distillery and is made using 100% Petite Champagne grapes. Their products never contain artificial coloring, caramel, or boisé (a reduction of boiled wood).

Pleasant sweetness with a hint of peach underneath. A touch of whipped cream on the nose. A mild burn at the conclusion, though I would have preferred a bit more intensity. It's easy to drink.
