The Landy cognac range began in 1989 as a joint effort between Cognac Ferrand's President and Owner, Alexandre Gabriel, and a family from the Charente region. This particular cognac is the youngest offering in the Landy selection and was produced from grapes grown in the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, and Fins Bois areas.

It's light in every way. A mild sweetness arrives first, accompanied by a delicate pear and quince taste, plus a whisper of vanilla and cream. The finish is strongly oak-forward, quite similar to a mild, sweet bourbon. A soft spice and heat linger on the tongue and palate once swallowed. It doesn't stand out, so reserve your sips for a more exceptional drink, though it has no significant flaws.
Light on the palate, slightly harsh going down, but smooth overall.
My first experience with Brandy. I liked it.
