Worthy Park Special Cask Series Port 2010

Port aroma, Jamaican funk, and very faint banana. Yes, this is unusual, but the first sip delivers a burst of pink bubblegum! The anticipated port flavor quickly steps in with notes of mixed fruit. Due to the port influence, I don't think this would be a top choice for cocktails. All tasting notes are based on sipping it neat.

Costing $67.49. 90 proof. Aged for 8 years in former bourbon barrels and 2 years in former ruby port casks. Flavors include smoked molasses, toasted grapes, nuts (reminiscent of Grape-Nuts cereal), caramelized bananas, oranges, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, chocolate, oak, buttery corn, apple pie, caramel, bacon, coconut, and maple syrup.
