Hampden Estate Great House (Distillery Edition 2021)

Compared to the 2020 version, this is less artificial and exhibits more light barnyard funk, along with fruitier notes. There's some spice present, alongside the expected brown sugar and a hint of custard. When compared to other Hampdens, this might appeal more to those who enjoy whiskey and Bajan rums, though it still distinctly retains its Jamaican character.

Intense. A superb balance of fruit, spice, and significant funk. It's like eating a pineapple with honey while walking through a cow pasture, in the best possible way.
