I tasted this right after opening and can't recall my exact notes, but after it sat on my bar for another six months untouched, I tried it again and am very impressed. The nose and initial palate had a fascinating horseradish note, leading to a green apple mid-palate, and finishing with banana and port sweetness. As I drank it over a couple of hours, notes of apricot and chocolate emerged. I'd definitely suggest it if you want something unique to offer guests.

This is one of the finest bourbons I've had in a very long time. I appreciate that it contains no corn or rye, thus eliminating some of that peculiar bourbon sweetness that can sometimes be too much. I'm a scotch enthusiast, and this comes very close to a single malt scotch.
This was excellent. I detected a nutty flavor reminiscent of boiled peanuts, which was fantastic. It also had notes of caramel and vanilla. I'm a big fan and hope the boiled peanut comparison doesn't deter anyone, as it's truly delicious.
If Woodford Malt is characterized by sweetness, maltiness, and butteriness, this special edition adds further layers of sweetness and complexity. It's so good! I am eager to get my bottle back from my father!
This is incredibly good. Tastes like chocolate-covered banana all the way through.
Smooth, with caramel, a great mid-palate, and a long finish.
