This is a solid buy. It's a basic Irish blend that splits the difference between cheapos (kilbeggan, Paddy’s etc) and nicer blends like Slane and Powers. So it’s rubbing shoulders with Tullamore, Jameson, Bushmills and has its own thing going on. Bright vanilla seems to be the dominant flavor. Definitely want to try the nicer offerings too.

Slightly different from major Irish whiskies like Jameson and Bushmills. The bourbon cask influences the flavor towards the oak/vanilla notes characteristic of bourbon.
It's quite smooth for an Irish Whiskey, largely due to its lack of pronounced flavor.
