Weldon Mills House Gin

On both the nose and palate: Juniper, grapefruit zest, cucumber, floral hints (lavender?), mint, and some earthy grain notes from the base spirit. It seemed to clash with the Fever Tree Tonic it was mixed with. It's about what you'd expect from a $12 gin, but as a non-colored product, I had hoped for a slightly higher rating. It's not terrible, though, and as a certain musician once sang, sometimes “The cheapest stuff is all I need, to get me back on my feet again.”

Smooth and easy to drink neat or over ice. It pairs well in a simple G&T with lime. For the cost, this gin is an absolute steal. Not as good as a certain other gin, but definitely worth a try at 1/3 the price!
