Distinctive flavor and a dark profile. It's full-bodied with a sweet, sugary, chocolatey flavor. I suppose this is what's known as classic dark rum with strong Demerara characteristics. It's not my preferred taste, but it's clearly not an inexpensive or uninteresting spirit. I do like it, though. Currently scoring it 72/100, but I'll revisit it later.
