Easton Schaeffer 3.8

Drank it straight and enjoyed the pop sound when opening the bottle. Smell: Intense First taste: Smooth, with applewood and a subtle spice. Aftertaste: A mild warming sensation moves around, not unpleasant. A good bottle for $40. Rated 7.5 out of 10.

Willie Burke 3.5

Faint notes of apples and cinnamon on the nose, which are pleasant and not overpowering. The palate offered more apple, cinnamon, and spices, reminiscent of Christmas bourbon. The finish was short, but it's quite good for sipping.

Arabella Hanna 3.8

I purchased this hoping it would resemble the 6-year barrel strength release. It's not nearly as rich or flavorful (obviously), but its light fruitiness makes for an interesting pour.

Garry Horner 1.5

The nose seems to be entirely ethanol. The palate is not as harsh, but there's nothing distinct. I'm glad I didn't buy it and instead tried it at a local bar.

Carolina Finn 2.8

Excessive oak, akin to licking a tree. While I can identify some of the described notes below, it's generally not to my taste.

Bailey Moffitt 3.3

A cool and refreshing aroma, followed by a very smooth and fruity taste from aging in brandy barrels. It goes down easily with a warming sensation.
