Their sloe gin, my first of this kind, is one of the most impressive offerings I've encountered from Wajos. It almost perfectly captures how sloughberries relate biologically to plums, cherries, and almonds, with the latter two clearly detectable alongside prune and spice notes. It has a slightly old-fashioned, 'grandparent-like' taste, but not unpleasantly so. When mixed with Indian tonic, the profile is similar but subdued. With berry tonic, it strongly resembles German 'Rote Fassbrause' (raspberry soda).
