Sipsmith Sloe Gin

The aroma features citrus and juniper berries, along with more alcohol grain than anticipated; some berry notes were present but insufficient to mask the spirit's boozy character. The taste is sweeter, with most of the alcohol surprisingly concealed. I detected flavors of sloe berries and raspberry, followed by a straightforward gin profile and a warming finish – a definite improvement over the nose. It has an oily texture but is also smooth.

Deliciously funky sloe gin. It had the typical citrus freshness of a good gin, with an added twist of sloe berry flavor. Pronounced red fruits with a tobacco finish. Nice.
