A subtle oak presence is on the nose, accompanied by a whisper of vanilla. The initial taste is smooth, transitioning into a robust oak character, followed by sweet confectionary notes like toffee, salted caramel, vanilla bean, and espresso. The finish brings everything together rapidly, with the cask's influence leaving a slightly astringent, tannic aftertaste. This would work well as a shot alongside an Irish Stout, or to add depth to a traditional Irish Coffee.
