From a producer in Alsace, France, 375ml, $22, Unaged ("ready when distilled"). Pear liqueur/brandy. Looks light straw-colored with good viscosity in the glass. The aroma is ripe pear, floral grapes, and dry grass. The taste is very sweet, with pear and tart grape flavors, floral notes, and then a faint ethanol note as it leads to a brief, clean finish that is light and floral. Enjoyable on its own at room temperature, but I mixed it with chilled prosecco for a Champagne Pear cocktail (1.5oz spirit to 3-4oz prosecco). It didn't deliver as strong a pear flavor as I had hoped, but it was adequate.
