About this bottle

This rum is the first organic offering from the Dominican Republic, the home base for the Ron Barceló brand. It is produced from organic sugarcane cultivated on the Ron Barceló estate and, similar to their other rums, is distilled from fresh sugarcane juice rather than molasses. Following distillation, the rum matures in new American oak barrels prior to blending and bottling. It has been available throughout the US since April 2022.

The aroma is bright, woody, and refined. It enters the palate dry and lightly sweet, with a significant presence of oak cask. The mid-palate has a round character, while the sides of the tongue experience a somewhat tannic sensation. It's very approachable and full of character, making it an excellent spirit for tropical-style cocktails and classic aged rum-forward drinks. We value the dedication and distinctiveness in the creation of this rum, and fully endorse their commitment to environmental sustainability.
