About this bottle

This Gran Reserva Rum is produced at Licorera Cihuatán, El Salvador's inaugural rum distillery, which originated from the nearby Ingenio La Cabaña sugar mill. The molasses for the rum is also sourced from this location, highlighting the local sugarcane. The rums are aged in ex-bourbon casks using a solera system for up to 8 years, with selections made by Master Blender Luis R. Alvarez.

Lana Caruso 4.3

It smells and tastes like cream soda. It's smooth and enjoyable, but lacks depth.

Meredith Yu 4.5

Sweet, rich, and very smooth. Hard to beat for the cost.
