It's been ages since I've had Absinthe. The last times I recall, I was in college at a bar with a friend, and we tried flaming it. Another occasion, I brought a bottle to a party. I drank most of it and felt intoxicated. I was going to avoid this, given past experiences of it tasting completely artificial, but seeing the awards this earned, including best Australian Absinthe, I thought, why not? This turned out to be quite good. Organic, high-quality ingredients hit the mark. Beautiful anise flavor with other subtle botanicals. It's based on an 1800s Swiss recipe, proving good things endure. I purchased a bottle.
