Nose: Oak, intense mineral scents, cinnamon, agave, and a floral note I can't quite place. Palate: Oak, cinnamon, pepper. Strong caramel notes emerge after it rests, becoming sweeter as it sits. Finish: Oaky, with clear agave and a subtle hint of chocolate. Overall, I love this. It's excellent value for the money, and I would have happily paid more. While my experience with Extra Añejos is limited, it has more agave presence than I expected, which is always a plus. I'll definitely be purchasing it again.
