About this bottle
The ranch in Jesus Maria known as Las Presas, meaning "The Dams," was formerly owned by Carlos Camarena's great-grandfather. The agaves harvested from this location were 6.5 years old. As is customary, the agaves were cooked for 72 hours in an oven, after which a roller mill extracts the cooked juice, or miel. Fermentation spans 4-5 days, followed by double distillation. The spirit is bottled at 80 proof without any aging.
