Tequila Ocho offers single-estate bottlings resulting from a partnership between Tomas Estes and the Camarena family. "La Magueyera" refers to the ranch's name, a clever nod to "maguey," the common term for agave. The agave plants for this tequila were gathered at a superior brix level, ranging from 27-28%, which exceeds the typical amount by 5%, and cultivated in gray clay earth.

Aroma and flavor are quite floral. A slight peppery note is present, with agave being noticeable all the way through. This is more than a good tequila; it's an excellent one. It possesses an air of sophistication. Without question, among the top blanco tequilas I have had. I strongly endorse it!

Excellent tequila. The aroma has notes of agave, black pepper, citrus, and grass. Citrus and agave carry through to the taste, joined by mint, anise, and mineral undertones.
Smooth and slightly sweet, with just a touch of heat in the finish.
