About this bottle
The Contreras family, who trace their lineage to Don Jose Trinidad Contreras, a founder of Valle de Juarez in 1845, produces Tequila Distinguido. The name honors Don Jose's distinction as an agave harvester in his youth. This silver tequila is made with blue agave, baked in a stainless steel oven, double-distilled using a column still, and bottled without aging.
