About this bottle

Produced in Jalisco by Destilería Cascahuín, this additive-free tequila is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave. The agave is cooked in stone ovens, fermented in cement tanks without fibers, and twice distilled in pot stills. A short 21-28 day aging in American oak casks, previously used for Oaxacan mezcal, is done as a nod to tradition, even for a blanco expression. It is then clarified and diluted to 56% ABV using reverse osmosis demineralized water before being bottled at 43% ABV.

Marcel Darnell 5.0

Peppery with a hint of baking spices and cinnamon, complemented by a very pleasant nose and a slightly numbing sensation in the mouth. Among the finest tequilas I've had the pleasure to sip!

Earle Crawford 5.0

Pleasant and buttery with hints of cooked agave, smoke, green chilies, peaches, papayas, mangoes, oranges, anise, cinnamon, salted caramel, butterscotch, and papayas.
