A sample from a club. Matured for four to six years. Twenty-five percent saw virgin oak, twenty-five percent Oloroso barrels, and fifty percent came from first-fill bourbon barrels. Quite enjoyable. Smell: Guava, pineapple, chocolate, citrus, raisins, cherries, apricots, mangoes, papaya, strawberries, raspberries, honey, florals, green apples, baking spices, peaches, pepper, oranges Taste: Honey, caramel, pepper, red apple, mango, pineapple, apricot, cherry, orange, citrus, cloves, peaches, cinnamon Aftertaste: Mango, passion fruit, citrus, dried fruit, figs, raisins

Nose: Smells of a grain silo and hay. A hint of burnt oak. Minerally, like hot sand on a beach. A touch of butter and cantaloupe. After a few drops of water, vanilla and spiced scones emerge that were previously hidden. Palate: Oak, raw grain, and cream. Again, a bit of sweetness, spice, and vanilla, but only after adding water. Very smooth and pleasant, almost effervescent. Finish: Builds slowly, medium length. More oak, vanilla, and cream, with some black pepper. Slightly minerally/metallic.

The aroma is rich with malt and grains, hints of citrus, honey, and a touch of berries. The mouthfeel is substantial and smooth, featuring malt and cereal grains, some almond and vanilla, and a whisper of sherry. The finish lingers with a touch of spice, chocolate, and nuttiness.

Fruit and spice. Nose: extremely fruity. Tropical fruits, mango, citrus, vanilla. Not very spicy. Some alcohol presence. Palate: creamy, vanilla, tropical fruits. Then spice becomes dominant. Finish: dry, sweet, ginger spice. 46% ABV, like all products from this producer.

Aromas of fruit, grapes, vanilla, and bourbon.
