Suavecito Blanco Tequila

A subtle Agave Spirit from Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico, prepared with Weber Blue Agave cooked in stone/brick ovens; fermented in stainless steel; double distilled in a Stainless Pot Still with a Copper Coil, and has 2% Agave nectar added before bottling at 35% ABV. It begins delicately with notes of cooked agave, citrus, nuts, and herbs; a smooth middle phase adds orange, mint, and anise; leading to a swift and balanced conclusion with notes of Agave nectar, white pepper, almonds, and leather. For an unaged tequila, it carries a subtle agave presence due to the inclusion of agave nectar to enhance smoothness. While not an "additive free" spirit, it still displays some commendable qualities. Delicate notes of agave are present alongside robust flavors of honey, citrus, and peppermint. The aroma is rich with fruit and honey, with lingering hints of agave. The finish is smooth and sweet, echoing the agave nectar and honey flavors. This tequila is well-suited for cocktails or as a celebratory shot.

Unusually sweet finish due to the added agave nectar. Not very good.
