About this bottle
Established in 1982, St. George Spirits in the San Francisco Bay Area was one of the United States' initial craft distilleries. Their diverse portfolio covers a wide array of spirit categories, both conventional and innovative. St. George Spirits California Agricole Rum utilizes sugarcane from California's Imperial Valley, which is promptly pressed at the distillery. Distillation occurs in a 500-liter copper pot-still, distinguishing it from the column-distilled rhum agricole produced in Martinique. It is bottled unaged at 43% alcohol by volume. The distillery also offers a version of this rum aged for four years in French oak.
