About this bottle
Lars Renbjer, who co-owns Sweden's Gunroom spirits, has extensively researched historical "navy style" blended rums from past centuries. In collaboration with E&A Scheer, a prominent rum blender, they have produced a Navy rum with a striking 130 proof. This rum is a blend of spirits from five nations: Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, Guyana, and one undisclosed location, which is widely believed to be Batavia Arrack from Indonesia. Consistent with the navy style, this rum does not focus on extended aging, as the average component is approximately three years old.
