Estimated price. Bought from Alchemy. Nose: Faint agave. Grassy. Palate: Brief and delicate. Lime zest. Cream. Finish: Moderate. Peppery. Conclusion: Uncomplicated, straightforward. Works well in cocktails. Not excessively pricey, but I believe I prefer the Espolon Blanco for its flavor and outstanding value, as it's sometimes half the cost.

About this bottle
The agave for Calle 23 is cultivated in the Highlands (Los Altos) of Jalisco, between the towns of Tepatitlan and Arandas. This unaged tequila is double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills. Notably, the master distiller, Sophie Decobecq, a former bio-chemist with prior experience in the South African spirits industry, is one of the few women distillers in Mexico.
