The Ohio Department of Liquor Control removed this from their list, so I've been acquiring these bottles for $21.00 recently. It's a pleasant, mellow spirit that doesn't linger on the tongue, with tastes of light oak and caramel, but it lacks complexity. While it's acceptable for the price I've been paying, I would still be interested to see how it develops with more time on the barrel.

Light. An easy drink. Nothing offensive, but it's very one-dimensional, a generic bourbon taste. Barely any bite.
Nose: peppery, tart Palate: cassia, sugary Ending: brief with a faint sting
