About this bottle
Located in the coastal town of Burnie on Tasmania, the island known as the southern Hemisphere's Whisky Isle, Hellyers Road is one of Australia's more established distilleries at 16 years old. The Original Single Malt Whisky serves as the flagship expression for the Hellyers Road brand. Matured in Ex Jack Daniels American oak casks and produced using 100% Tasmanian-grown malted barley, this whisky is presented without added coloring or chill filtration and is noteworthy. Hellyers is distributed in Australia and many European countries, but is not currently available in the US.

Quite pleasing! Browned butter, toffee, vanilla, nutmeg, and a touch of cinnamon. It's almost like a snickerdoodle cookie that isn't too sweet.
