The aroma is woody and vanilla with a possible hint of dark cherry. The taste is like a caramel apple with nuts. The finish is medium to long. There's some leather present throughout. Good spirit for the appropriate price. Adding a bit of water helps to soften the leather and wood flavors, bringing out more of the caramel and fruit.
Great sipping whiskey to warm you up. Starts smooth/sweet, then you get some spice, and then a little orange on the finish. Leaves a pleasant tingle on the lips and tongue after sipping. Big fan.
Caramel, apple, and a pleasant smooth wheated finish that I'm accustomed to with Weller, Pappy, etc. Allowing this to sit and breathe for a while really helped it open up.
675 of 2323 Batch# 21F11898 A whiskey that is as rich and pleasant as one could desire. This new bottle needed a couple of minutes to rest, after which it opened up wonderfully.
Amazing. A jumble of fruit with a brown sugar conclusion.
