About this bottle

This bourbon is named after the water sourced from the Seven Devils mountain range and is presented as Idaho's "first bourbon." However, it is distilled in Kentucky before being bottled in Idaho. Koenig Distillery and Winery, which also produces wine, brandy, and vodka, marks its entry into the whiskey market with this product.

Ruben Saylor 2.3

Nose: Apple, caramel, nuts, very aromatic. Palate: Spices, oak. Finish: Brief with a grainy character. It's a little unbalanced, showing its youth. The nose was intriguing, but the palate didn't live up to the initial promise.

Gordon Burnette 2.3

Initially abrasive, it mellows out acceptably. It feels bland, subdued, though. Hints of spice, maple, and mint are present, like observing through a screen.

Mack Beaver 4.0

Very smooth. Reminiscent of Jim Beam without the brown sugary sweetness. Has a nice slow burn on the back of the palate.

Ryland Barker 3.0

A standard whiskey, with strong notes of spice and cinnamon. Quite harsh, leaving a lingering burn. Needs ice.

Alanna Pinto 2.0

A harsh burn. It has caramel and faint spice, but the flavor isn't fully developed. Overall, it's quite forgettable.

Wiley Rojas 3.0

A sweet flavor. It feels heavy and dense, slowly warming the throat.
