The label simply states "Made with Agave," indicating it's not 100% agave and therefore not genuine tequila. It's marketed as an inoffensive, budget-friendly mixer, but honestly, its aroma is intensely off-putting. It smells like poor-quality agave, ethanol, and some strange chemical scent I can't quite identify but also detect in cheap vodkas like Vitali. The smell alone nearly made me gag. Surprisingly, it doesn't taste nearly as unpleasant as it smells. Don't get me wrong, it's not good or even average, but I didn't feel the urge to spit it out immediately. The best description I can offer is that it tastes exactly like Jose Cuervo Silver diluted with water, which is a benefit because it lacks the harshness of straight Cuervo. I'm sure I could mix it into a margarita and achieve something similar to those dreadful pre-made versions, so I suppose this bottle has its uses. However, if you're seeking inexpensive "tequila," why not opt for Sauza? It's also mass-produced but at least it doesn't taste like watered-down Cuervo and its smell isn't as offensive. I'd advise against it.
