About this bottle

Olmeca Silver Tequila is a mixto style crafted from blue Weber agave sourced from the Los Altos region of Jalisco. Unspecified additional ingredients are incorporated. The agave is cooked in both stone ovens and autoclaves, then fermented without its fibers in stainless steel tanks. It is distilled two times, using a combination of copper pot and column stills, and then allowed to rest in stainless steel before bottling. The bottle sizes and alcohol by volume percentages vary by market. Please note that while Olmeca updated its portfolio's packaging in February 2022, the product itself remains unchanged.

The aroma is dominated by artificial sweetness, showing notes of vanilla cake and marzipan, with subtler hints of juniper and pine bark. The same flavors, all quite muted, reappear on the taste. Very oily texture. Noticeable ethanol burn on the initial impact and mid-palate, which then fades on the brief finish. 1.75/5.00 – Quite Bad (neat)
