Margaritaville Gold Tequila

I've been a devoted fan of Jimmy Buffett since birth and a huge admirer of Margaritaville's frozen daiquiris, but this tequila is utterly terrible. We used to use it as a penalty shot when my friends lost at card games in college.

This is possibly the worst tequila I've encountered. Marketing clearly plays a role. Even when mixed into a margarita, the tequila flavor is too strong.

Sharp agave, perhaps a trace of grass. Little else. Harsh, inexpensive, and entirely one-note. I concur, it's trash.

Awful, just awful, the smell, the taste, and the resulting aftertaste made me gag.
