About this bottle

Originating from 1924, Antiguo de Herradura was initially the private tequila served to visitors and relatives at Casa Herradura. This añejo expression is aged in wood for 16 months, distinguishing it from their higher-tier Herradura Añejo, which matures for over 25 months.

Lucretia Leyva 5.0

An excellent value for $25. This is difficult to find in the U.S.; it's only sold south of the border. If you can get a bottle, it's worth it. It tastes like typical tequila, well-balanced and smooth. It surpasses anything else in this price range that you can find.

Wendy Donald 4.0

It leaves an almost salty, olive-like aftertaste. With a bit of ice, I might have described it as a 'tequila martini'. Pleased with this acquisition.
