A potent, Calvados-style Apple Brandy crafted by the founder of Santa Fe Spirits Distillery in New Mexico, using locally sourced organic ingredients and aged for at least 10 months in new American oak. It presents an aromatic opening with notes of apple peel, vanilla, fruit, cinnamon, subtle hints of oak, pepper, and leather. Its fresh and mellow development adds notes of apples, more oak, vanilla, and cinnamon, leading to a medium-length spicy conclusion with hints of oak and black pepper. January 2021

The aroma features red apples, caramel, oak, and a peaches and cream character. The palate brings apples, cinnamon, and oak. It has a very gentle sweetness.
On the nose, I detect the expected apple, caramel, sweetness, and dried fruit. On the palate, I get hot fruit like mulled wine.
Rich in taste without the typical burn. Possibly a bit too sweet.
