This is the third port-finished rye from Sagamore Spirit and features its longest port maturation to date. It begins as a straight rye aged for 6 years in new, charred American oak barrels, then spends an additional 3 years finishing in Maryland-style port casks. Bottled at 103 proof, it has been available since November 2023 at the distillery in Baltimore and select US retailers, with a suggested retail price of $99.99.

I've been using this app for some time, and the 78 score is one of the most questionable expert ratings I've encountered. This spirit easily rivals the Midwinter Nights Dram.
I don't get the website's score of 78. It's completely off. This certainly surpasses MWND. The port influence is immense, with a very rich and lengthy finish.
This outperforms that other finished rye. It delivers everything one could desire in a port-finished rye.
